Child Abuse Prevention Flag-Raising Ceremony in Riverside

Join us for the Child Abuse Prevention Flag-Raising Ceremony at the Riverside County Administration Center on Tuesday, April 2, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Esteemed speakers including Second District Supervisor Karen Spiegel, Third District Supervisor Chuck Washington, Fifth District Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez, District Attorney Mike Hestrin, Sheriff Chad Bianco, County Executive Officer Jeff Van Wagenen, and Department of Public Social Services Director Charity Douglas will gather to honor young lives lost due to violence, abuse, and neglect.

This collaborative effort by the County of Riverside, the Family Service Association (FSA), and the HOPE Collaborative aims to deepen community awareness about recognizing signs of abuse and neglect. RSVPs are requested by emailing [email protected] or by calling 951-686-3750, and free onsite parking is available.

Attendees are encouraged to wear blue to show support for preventing child abuse and neglect.
